"Jean is a very competent teacher. She knows how to research any topic that is covered in class and is very interesting to listen to when presenting. She manages large classes well and keeps everything in prospective when dealing with finances and class time management. She is a multi-task individual and puts her whole heart and talents into all she does. Watching her teach is inspirational. "

"I have known Jean Burk and her youngest child, Judah Burk, for approximately 4 years. Judah babysat for our family weekly until she started attending college in Arkansas. After Judah left for college, her mom, Jean, became our weekly sitter for our family. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Jean and Judah.
I have had the privilege of assisting Jean technically on her preparation of her presentation for her College Prep Genius class. Her diligence, research, knowledge and ability to teach the information are evident in the class material. The presentation itself is crisp and informative, very helpful for those preparing to take the PSAT or the SAT test. I firmly believe the class material will prepare a student very well to achieve high scores on the tests.
We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Judah, Jeans youngest child. Judah is very dependable, intelligent, fun, encouraging and a young woman of high integrity and moral standards. Jeans great parenting and educating of her children is very evident. I was especially impressed with the fact that Judah admires and looks up to her mom, Jean, a lot. She views her mom as a woman with great integrity, character, resourcefulness, creativity, energy and friendship. It speaks a lot to both mother and daughter when a daughter admires her mother so much.
I greatly appreciate Jean Burk as a friend, as someone I’ve done business with and as a mentor in the areas of parenting and education. She loves to train and teach others and has boundless energy and creative ideas on communicating her message. She’s fun, smart, creative and a very hard worker. You will be blessed and educated by her material."

"Jean Burk has taught my children several months now, and I can honestly say she is an exceptional teacher. They have learned about discipline, geography, cooking, and art. My seven and five year-old repeat her wisdom and knowledge to me throughout the week. Additionally, Jean is hard-working and insightful, doing various independent jobs that were an unexpected delight! I have witnessed Jean field questions from graduate students about the SAT and the scoring process, and her answers were informative and accurate.
I believe Jean's integrity to be impeccable. I have encountered difficult situations involving friends and family, that required her honesty and boldness, in which Jean intervened successfully. I have also had the privilege to employ Jean's daughter Judah. I found Judah to be punctual, resourceful, and eager to complete difficult tasks. The same positive qualities I have observed in Jean were evident in Judah also.
I have immense respect for Jean, and would recommend her and the products she has meticulously prepared to anyone!"

"My name is Skissy (Janyth) Caldwell. I am a homeschool mom of 4 girls and have been a friend of Jean Burk for about ten years. I met her through some mutual friends at a Bible Study, but really got to know her at a home school co-op that we were both attending several years ago.
Jean is someone who can make me laugh. She is energetic, ambitious, and full of creative ideas. Her creativity, in particular, made me want to get to know her better. When I did, I began to find out how many overlapping interest we had. Jean always loves a good party, especially if she can be in on the planning of it. It always stood out how unselfish she was because she was constantly creating fun events for her teens and their friends. If there wasn’t a reason for an event, she would create one. My daughter and I both attended a great study that she organized that encouraged teens to stay pure until marriage and have respect for themselves and others. I believe that she has been a very positive influence in the life of my kids as well as many other teens.
I hear many wonderful things about her SAT prep course that she developed. It has helped her own children to receive scholarships for college and I think it is wonderful that she is willing to share all of this success as she passes this on to us.
She is also a hard worker. I have seen her work on remodeling their home, planning birthday parties, graduation events, wedding events, as well as teaching a wide range of educational classes at our co-op. Now as I hear of her writing books and leading SAT prep classes, I am not surprised at all at the success she has had.
I have always seen Jean put her family as a high priority. The strength of her communication skills that have been utilized in many of her creative endeavors have no doubt enhanced the great relationship I notice that she has with her husband and children. Speaking of her children, Josh and Judah are such great kids. They are some of the sweetest teens I have ever known. When we were visiting a Bible study years ago with my kids , I remember Judah making my kids feel so welcome and sometimes the only one reaching out to them. I don’t think Judah has ever met a stranger. She is all smiles and bubbly and hugs everyone she meets. Josh is very friendly and reaches out as well, although, he has a quieter personality. They are both a joy to be around and their character is strong enough that I would trust them with my children any time. Knowing Jean’s husband, Jim, to be the kind and hardworking person that he is helps to complete the wonderful family unit that God has created in them.
Jean is a good wife. I believe she has been a real helpmeet to her husband. She has worked alongside of him and even entered him in a make-over contest, only to see him win! I feel Jean and her family loves the Lord and have committed themselves to God first, family second, and then others.
Jean has been a good friend and I look to see many other wonderful, creative works to come our way as a result of her endeavors in the future!"

"Jean Burk was the one who planned and organized our son's graduation. Her hard work and persistence produced a wonderful memory for all involved in the graduation. She made sure all the details were carried out and was very creative in putting the decorations, the refreshments, the program and the video of the graduation together. She encouraged and helped all the graduates and their parents to get their responsibilities completed. She was patient and courteous through it all."
